Why Recall?

We are a group of local citizens organizing a grassroots effort to recall Sen. Justine Wadsack because we believe she does not accurately represent her constituents. Her legislative proposals would be bad for LD17, bad for Tucson, and bad for Arizona. Wadsack is too extreme for Arizona!

Unprofessional and unavailable

Senator Wadsack has made it clear she has no interest in representing constituents who don’t agree with her extreme politics and ill-devised lawmaking. In her own words:

Screenshot of tweet posted by Sen. Justine Wadsack reading:

"Those who didn't vote for me lost.
Those who did vote for me won.

So I am going to be the champion for those who voted for me, and clearly, those who lost have plenty of other Senators in Pima who will listen to them.
Screenshot of tweet posted by Sen. Justine Wadsack reading:

"We are each part of two political parties who fundamentally disagree on policy. So of course you hate my position on issues. I hate yours. But your party lost & LD17 is designed for my party, and that's why I won. Your recall effort makes you look like an unhinged, sore loser."

"It was actually designed for my predecessor... but then I beat him by 6 points."

Wadsack refuses to meet with constituents that she has labeled “liberal activists.” She has blocked constituents and other Arizonans on social media for disagreeing with her or criticizing her official conduct. We have the right to stay informed!
